For those who want to know what actually we did,and how it works, can continue reading.

How It Works?

Paging:
paging is one of the memory management schemes by which a computer can store and retrieve data from secondary storage for use in main memory. In the paging memory-management scheme, the operating system retrieves data from secondary storage in same-size blocks called pages.

Need For Paging:

Before paging came into use, systems had to fit whole programs into storage continuously, which caused various storage and fragmentation problems.

What we've Done:

The page file is used by Windows to hold temporary data which is swapped in and out of physical memory in order to provide a larger virtual memory set. What we've done above is,we just helped windows to get more virtual memory by creating a static page file, which inturn boosts the performance of our pc.

Some administrators will allow the system to manage the page file sizes. However, while this ensures that you are unlikely to encounter page file related resource depletion, it can lead to severe disk and page file fragmentation as the page file continuously shrinks and expands to keep up with the needs of the system. If you are in a situation where there is severe disk fragmentation and you have a dynamic page file, I would strongly recommend you to use a static page file.
