Do you know that Google Drive Supports web hosting?yes its true.now you can host your website for free on google drive.currently it only supports hosting of HTML,CSS and JS files.
- First open your Google Drive and upload your html file or even css or js,
- Now change the sharing settings to visibility settings to public on the web
- Now copy the sharing link,
- It should look something like below,
- Now you need to make a few changes in the URL,first "drive,google.com/file/d/" shall be replaced with "googledrive.com/host/"
- Next remove the "/edit?usp=sharing" part and be careful while doing it,co you don't want to alter the file id which in my case is 0B515.....
- Now your finished URL shall look like this
- Thats it,you are done hosting your html
- Similarly you can host your css and js files and link them directly to your html
Nice contetnt. I hope we cant call it as hosting, because when ever we have an opportunity to link a domain to it, then only we can call it as hosting.
