Hey guyz!,its been long since my recent post. :P in this post lets see some tricks you can do to smartify your youtube experience :)
watch whats worth!
how much time have you wasted watching the initial boring parts of a youtube video like the titles, unnecessary introductions etc?count it no more.with a simple trick you can just skip all those and get straight to the main part.
For example consider the below url for the legendary steve jobs stanford commencement addressing,
it contains an introduction part, but like me if you are only intrested in the speech of steve jobs rather than others, add a small line of query next to the url,
&wadsworth=1
the finished url looks similar to that of below
and when you hit enter you can see that certain part of the video has been skipped which roughly contains all the unwanted slag
You can also see that there is an indication in the navigation bar marking the start of important event
Magic Actions:
Its a simple extension for a more fancy youtube, first you need to get your browser specific Magic Actions for Youtube
after the extension is added to your browser, you can see a menu bar below you video window of youtube and a small weird looking icon before the youtube logo,
It has various options like support for night view mode, movie mode, repeat etc etc but there are two options which i find are pretty useful and functional.
Scroll wheel to control sound:
you can place your mouse anywhere on the video screen and increase or decrease the volume by just scrolling your mouse wheel which is pretty handy,
Capture:
this option allows you to capture snapshots of you tube videos with just one click
